Password request on preview

OK, so this is strange. Only happens for IE, not Mozilla. Happens on 1 branch but others are fine.

If I click preview on a DCR, I get a login/password for each /img or /inc in the HTML, but they still do not load. If I use generate, then no problem images load fine.

I have copied the zz_tst file to foo.htm and it is viewable no trouble.

I was thinking there is an issue with TS Webserver preview but it has permissions to do whatever it needs.

Win 2003 EE on 6.7.1

Anything sound even remotely familiar ? Any other ideas to debug ?

It might be a problem with browser? Did you check the compatibility or did you clear the cache and checked again?

I suspect that is the issue, since there is a password on the tsimp user.

I tried making the changes mentioned, but I am not certain I understand this part: you will now need to add TSIMP_ user to the account allowed for anonymous access in IIS.

That account is a user, IUSR_hostname. How can I add this user to another user ?

You should change IIS security, namely set TSIMP whatever as an account with allowed anonymous access.

Get to IIS Manager. Right mouse click on the desired Site (Default Web Site). Open up "Properties".
Chose "Directory Security" Tab. Click "Edit" Button for "Authentication and access Control"
Check "Enable anonymous Action" box and provide user name and Password for YourHostName\TSIMP_whatever INSTEAD OF
IUSR_whatever. Save and restart Site
