Hi,

When I am trying to change the in user_database.xml , the teamsite users are not able to login. It throws error "Wrong username/password".
when I checked the logs of iwtrace.log the error is "ERROR:'Can't contact LDAP server' in binding to (ldap.xyz.com) on port 636”
though telnet to ldap is working fine.
Please help..

Check your LDAP connection string. It may be able to open a socket but the query structure may be wrong. In addition, you may need to provide an LDAP user/password to query LDAP. That is quite common.

That is site specific, talk to your LDAP team.

There is sample code available on the internet (I found in Perl, likely Java as well) which will test your connections, google for it and download and test.
