Unable to start Workflow

My Teamsite is running on 6.7.1, Windows platform. I'm not able to submit the workflow out of sudden.

The below error popped up upon clicking submit button:
Invalid Workflow:
Bad Session string
5b23442442dc23124234cxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I've restore the /httpd/bin/ from the backup copy. But the error still appearing.

What is wrong?

Did you change anything in available_templates.cfg ??

Or

Did you change anything in your WFT file ??

When did you notice this change ?? I mean when did last time you notice it was working well ??

Did you try explicitly logging out and back in to TeamSite via the GUI?
Does this happen for all workflows?
Does this happen for all users?

What do you mean you restored iwhome/httpd/bin ? - presumably you mean httpd/iw-bin. I'm not sure about Windows, but on Unix you have to be careful because there are setuid root programs in there - on Windows there are binary wrappers - and if you have to programs that share the exact same first 8 characters in their filenames - the binary wrappers and the scripts for which they are supposed to wrap may be incorrectly aligned. And unless something has changed in the last couple of years, you cannot turn off the 8.3 mapping option in Windows because the TS installer depends on it (sigh).

When i manually run the perl script which is the start task using command prompt, I got this error Cannot Connect to IWSERVER.

Is this related error related to the bad string session?

i've not try to restart the server yet. Besides restarting the server, any other resolution? I also encountered error while running iw-reset -a
Error :02004: No server found returned

The same thing just happened to me... I've been working all day (DCT/.tpl development), and have submitted many times.

All of a sudden I got this as a JavaScript alert on the Submit Job screen. (Tried in Firefox and Safari... both have the same issue.)


Invalid workflow:
no element found at line 1
ERROR:00001: Failure in operation

I'm the only person working on this system, and I haven't touched anything except from the CCP GUI.

Did you ever resolve this problem?

Try running iwstat and see whether it gives us any clue on this issue.
