getdoc.aspx -Worksite Web
System
Hi everybody, I don't know if this is a normal behaviour, however if you send a link to a document in worksite web using getdoc.aspx even if you have full access you only have the download option to see the doc.
You don't have view and view as html.
Only when you are NRTADMIN you have these 2 options.
Could it be a security wrong configuration?
Thanks in advance
Javi

Hi Javi,
Please provide the following information so that I can try to reproduce:
WSW version
iManage.dll version (found in /bin of WSW install directory)
Is user internal or external?
From your description of the problem, it seems that you have given UserX full access to a document, and UserX is neither author/operator nor admin. When UserX clicks on a link to GetDoc referencing the document, he can only see Download, not View or View as HTML. Is this correct?

Hi Dabird, the information you asked me for is the following:
1.- Worksite Web 8.2 Patch 1
2.- Imanage.dll version 8.2.22.0
3.- I'm using virtual users, so no external.
As an answer to this:
"From your description of the problem, it seems that you have given UserX full access to a document, and UserX is neither author/operator nor admin. When UserX clicks on a link to GetDoc referencing the document, he can only see Download, not View or View as HTML. Is this correct?"
you are right, the user is not author/operator and not admin and has full access and only download option (not view and view as html).
Do you mean that is a normal behaviour?,is there any better way of doing this? due to I'm having to many problems using as links viewdoc.aspx and redirect.aspx.

Hi Javi,
I tried this out on my end with WSW 8.2 P1, iManage.dll 8.2.22 and Server 8.2.18. I was not able to reproduce your problem. A user with full access should be able to see all the menus, so I would classify this as a bug.
Please check one more thing. Login to WSW as UserX, go to the document that you are testing, and click on the arrow next to the document. Does the menu show all items or the same ones that you see in GetDoc?

Hello Dabird, when you go to the linked document and expand the action button, you don't have View/View as htmls.
This makes me feel, that it is a permissions problem, however...it has full access. I will do a refile, in case it is not well inherited.
Cheers
Javi
