I want to add a button in templates as we used to do like in html. Is there any way to do so in template dev.? I couldnt find any except browse button. Please help.

Only way to do that is use a browse option or a callout

What is your requirment? Why you want to add this button? There might be some different solutions to this.

I want to add a button which can have some functionality. Just like, adding a button and its functionality is specified in javascript. Like that....hope you got it.

1. To add button to template, edit datacapture.cfg, here we can write. For browse button to appear, we can have in this file.

Like this, what we can have in datacapture.cfg for adding a button?

Also, can we use javascript for callout?

FYI, I tend to use check boxes at buttons, set up a check box, and use on change event in formapi to 1st, clear the check and then 2nd do the processing required. It is quite easy.

Yes there is a way out through which u can have a single button on your Templating form.
Just try this out....

This will give u a single button on ur templating form.
