teamsite working very slow - when publish documents

hi,

From my side, the teamsite is working very slow, when edit or publish documents . It may take fifteen minutes for one task.

Does anybody know what might be the issue ?

The teamsite version is a little older, it is 5.5.2 34955 20040504

I think you're on Teamsite552-SP6 which is currently E.O.L .
Is this on Solaris or Windws ?Do you have large No. Files per Directory ?

See KB#50065 This problem can be resolved if parameter "parentmap_blocksize=32" is added to the IWSERVER section of IW.CFG. IWRESET.
Run iwstat -c CLT and study the Output . KB#49672

Since TS552 is EOL some of those KBs might be outdated or inaccessible .
