Web Service FTP machine name

Due to network policies, the optimal configuration for our environment would be to have the FTP site used by the MediaBin 4.6.1 web service located on a dedicated FTP server, which would exist on a different machine than the one where the UNC directory and HTTP transfer folders are located, and would have a different machine name for the FTP URL. I understand we need the FTP site to point to the same network directory as defined for UNC and HTTP, but our network team is interested in keeping the FTP service on a dedicated machine, and would prefer not to have the FTP protocol service installed on the machine that houses the MediaBin web client

Do all the transfer sites (UNC, HTTP, and FTP) use the same machine name as defined the TEMPPATH key in web.config? Is there any way to edit the configuration to specify a different machine name for the FTP site URL?
