corrupted workflow

Hi ,
I am Using TS6.1 on Solaris 8.
Every week we restart Teamsite .

But from few weeks we are noticing that our workflow is geting corrupted. so we have to delete the WF from Backing store and then restart TS. Other wise TS would not start.

what may be the possible reasons that the workflow is getting corrupted.

Are you getting any error while debugging your workflow?

Is only one workflow gets corrupted or any workflow within the store?

I did not take the backup of the workflow folder, but after deleting the WF , TS restarted Properly.

Could you please explain me how you differntiate b/w corrupted and un-corrupted WF?

Hi Varun ,

Hope so this clears your doubt ,

If you type iwgetwfobj from the command line and you see a list of workflows still active but you do not see them from the TeamSite GUI jobs menu, then you have corrupted workflows. Or if you experience unusual behaviors such as job appearing and disappearing, then you have corrupted jobs in your workflow engine. Corrupt jobs are also identified by the support Diagnostics tool, availablefrom support.interwoven.com.

Workflows get corrupt when TeamSite box reboots unexpectedly or when it crashes in the middle of the workflow process. Usually the corrupt job can be removed using "iwrmjob jobid".

This happens Randomly , There is no fixed Pattern , we have raised a Case with interwoven for this .

Are you deleting iwprocessd.arena file when deleting the workflow store? If not what is the size of this file? Try stopping TeamSite and renaming this file.
