TS Performace Issues

Hi All,

I got the below KB Article for TS 6.7

Knowledge Base Article: 60104
Its states
If you see poor performance on TS 6.7.1 while saving DCR''s (some times 10minutes) and not much of information is being logged to iwtrace.log and servletd.log and also the load is very small.
Then check to see if iw.cfg''s [server] section has the following entries if they exist please disable and run iwreset.
log_permissions
show_user_list
Unnecessary debug logging will load the system. In this case will slow things down especially given that cssdk querapi queries expire after 10s (causing the query to be re-issued).

We are using TS6.1 , is there something we can do in TS6.1 to disable debug logging (If they are present ), if the DCR is taking too much time to save .

Are you certain it is a TS issue ? Try turning off your formapi and save.

I dont Feel its a FormApi issue as we are using the same form API in our other Prod Box .

Sometimes, the DCR Takes too much time to Save .

So I thought that if some logging was happening in behind and we could remove it then , there could be an increase in performance .

Does this delay happens with different data types... Please have a check in this scenario.

Logging should be a pretty small performance hit...

However if you really want to change this..

You can turn debugging ON if you go to /iw-cc/command/iw.base.loggers

If you wanted to turn logging back to WARN or something globally, you would need to edit the appropriate log4j.xml file, I am not aware of any way to change the logging levels from within the GUI (there may be a way, but I have not seen it yet).
