When I am Deploying a File , I am getting the below error in my OD Receiver Logs

LIB: (3) id=m4 2007-07-31 18:40:10 file created[/data/install/apache/htdocs/beyond/liveassets/internet/STAGING/area_local_assets/other_media/desktops.jpg.iwtmp]
LIB: 2007-07-31 18:40:10 00028LIB 00017: 2007-07-31 18:40:10 ERROR: Could not get file data(area_local_assets/other_media/desktops.jpg).

I am using OD 6.1.0.0.0

Because of this the File is not getting Deployed to the receiver.

Is that by chance a TeamSite STAGING area ? While the path did not look like it, I had to ask.

Can you create that file ? What are the perms of the dir ? Does that tmp file already exist and cannot be overwritten ?

Is this a filelist deployment?

prem_pratick

Hi , We Deploy from the WORKAREA/working Path on TS to the STG Path on our webserver .

Yes, it is a Filelist deployment.

thanks
Prem

If my DEST Path is
a/b/c/d/today.jpg
and directories c/d are not present then the directory c and d are created , the file today.jpg.iwtmp is also created but after that the error occurs.

Thanks
Prem

Can you post your XML ? also, what user is OD running as ? Is this Solaris or Linux (receiver) ? It appears that the permissions of the files are hosed when it creates them. Can you log on the receiver and do an ls -l of that new dir ?

Thanks for all your replies.

I got the probelem.

what we had done was that we had linked our servers and that was creating the error.

we are using Solaris 8 .

on our OD Receiver (Webserver Server ) the target htdocs path was linked to another server htdocs . so this was cauisng the probelm .

After we removed the link the issue was solved.

Thanks
Prem
