interwoven proxy not starting up

hi,
This is quite unexpected . The interwoven werver was worfing fine. suddenly it stopped. the interwoven proxy had stopped .
tried to start it but could not do so...
what couldbe the reason and how to restart it?
i am using ts 5.0.2 on windows 2000asd

What happens when you try to start the proxy from a command line in debug mode?

iwproxy -d

Hmmm - that one is weird. At this point I'm grasping at straws: have you checked to make sure that nothing else is binding to that port?

Run netstat -an and see if anything is listening on iwproxy's port (1080 by default). Also, can you post your iw.cfg?
