Modified By changed to user id

Hi,

My TeamSite is running vesion 6.7.1, Windows platform. Initially, the modified by is displaying username. After executing net stop iwserver, the modified by were changed to user id.

How do i set back the username?

Can we assume that you also did a net start of iwserver?
Can we further assume that all TeamSite-related services are running?
Are the accounts defined locally on the server or in ActiveDirectory or LDAP?

It is possible that TeamSite has not been able to connect to the domain server / AD server to retrieve the full username information - or that someone changed that system such that the full name information isn't there, or isn't where TeamSite is expecting to find it.

You could try adding the show_user_list setting to the iw.cfg file (RTM TeamSite Administration Guide [for Windows] for details) and see what TS is seeing in the way of user information...

If the problem persists though, you should probably open a case with IWOV Support to see if they can help diagnose the source of the problem and provide a means of resolution ... if so, please update this thread with any pertinent information.

I've set the show_user_list =true in iw.cfg.

I got this is my iwtrace log.

I noticed that in the Administraion Tab > Manage Users, Teamsite is able to display all the user name in the Name column.

why can't the Content tab read the name column?
