Hi I got a situation here, we got a user uploaded a folder with special character ( 7_Sell Script , please note there is a dot in between p and t) into the one of the workarea and submitted into Staging.I find that this folder actually kills my open deploy job, it returns error and rollback, so my content can't be deploy to the web server.I tried to delete the folder, but I receive a files conflict error. any expert can guide me to remove this folder from my TeamSite ContentCenter?TeamSite 6.5 SP2running on Windows Server 2003
Have you checked removing the folder from backend, instead of deleting it from contentcentere UI?
Support has a tool to remove them.
Most likely this happens when there are locks on files inside the deleted folder. Try doing a get latest with overwrite and restore the folder and everything underneath. Remove all locks. Remove the files. Submit. Remove the folder and submit again. Is that fails, then you have stale locks. Support has a tool to remove them. Also when you submit, if you use WF, the job will hang often on the submit and you need to open and click overwrite all.
Hi I'd try to get latest, and try over write all, I always get the file conflict error. it seems I couldn't get rid of that folder with all the posibilities I can think of anyway, you mentioned there was a tool to remove the stale locks? how can I obtain that tool, and is there any user manual?I have try to raise a case in support, but our support contract had expired, so I'm not sure Interwoven will entertaint this issue or not.
I guess if your contract has expired, you won't be able to obtain that tool...
