CSSDK Compilation best practices

To our java Gurus...

I've coded couple TS servlets to deal with the external Application. Please note that all these is pure TS Server collection,
there is no Client side footprint whatever. The setting is canonical .../customer_src/src/com/MyCompany/MyApp/*.java
mapped through Deployment Descriptor .../customer_src/etc/web.xml. Application rebuild is strictly make_toolkit,
execution logistics is "mapped command" -> myJSP Pages -> myServlets. All works, no issues here.

To make certain processing more efficient I want to use CSSDK. Now, I know that to make it work I have to include
cssdk jars referencies into classpath, reference shareddll in the java.library.path and reference cssdk.cfg in
cssdk.cfg.path.

So, here are my questions:
  1. Is the list above complete? Is it redundant (perhaps some of it has been set for the *Local Host* CSSDK by IWOV)?
  2. Where do I modify my settings? Has it been documented anywhere? Options? Best practices?

Off the top of my head:
  modify make_toolkit.ipl - questionable
  code "make_toolkit" wrapper - possible
  modify corresponding ant.bat (or perhaps ant.cmd? or both?) - probably, but what is the DLL setting location and syntax?

What dll are you talking about? If you are using the customer toolkit framework which it appears you are, no DLL references should be needed in this Java application.

You do need to update the system path variable to include the iw-home/cssdk directory, but that is independent of your java code and a one time setup.
