Import Files Not working

Getting the below error !! when trying to import files

Did you check whether your JRE / Browser is compatible with your server or not.. ??

Hi We are having

T.S. 6.1 on Solaris
JRE : 1.4.2

We are using IE6. with JRE:1.5.xx .

I think the JRE 1.5.xx on the client machines might be the source of some problems - as I recall, I think you need to use 1.4.2 (or similar?) on the client side too.

If you see this error isn't this pointing to MS JVM. Check your browser whether you have enabled to use MS JVM instead of Sun JVM.

Are you using any customized scripts for invoking launchpad application??

Hi Prem

To avoid this asset import problem, You need to install a JVM patch on your local m/c.

Pls follow the below procedure and try.

A) close all windows

Pls goto http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/javavm.html
C) click on [Click here to Download] link.
D) wait for 10 to 15 secs.
E) It will ask you to download one exe file.
F) save it to your desk top
G) double click on the exe file and follow the installation procedure and restart the local m/c.
H) once installation is over pls follow the below procedure.

Pls. goto Control Panel, there you might be seeing an option named "java" OR "Java-Plugins".

If an option available is "Java-Plugins", then follow the steps given below;

1.Double click on it
2.Go to the 3rd tab "Browser"
3.Uncheck all the check boxes (browser types)
4.Click Apply
5.Open a new browser window to login to TeamSite and check the Import File functionality.

If an option available is "Java", then follow the steps given below;

1.Double click on it
2.Goto "Advanced" tab of JAVA security panel
3.Goto tag support
4.Uncheck the "Internet Explorer" option
5.Click Apply
6.Open a new browser window to login to TeamSite and check the Import File functionality.

Pls Check and confirm...

Hi Prem/Varun,

Jsut quoting the issue from TS 671 perspective...
Seems JVM 1.5.0_07 is having issues around servletd and import functionality... but JVM 1.5.0_05 has no issues..
