Interwoven supports rich metadata to enhance personalization. We view personalization as run-time, or content-delivery, functionality which is enabled through best-of-breed vendors like IBM and BEA. We're squarely focused on Content Management not on Content Delivery--we partner to provide best-of-breed solutions. You could build your own personalization system to leverage Interwoven's rich, XML-based metadata but you need to remember TeamSite doesn't run in the production environment...it sits inside the firewall and rapidly, securely and transactionally deploys content & code to delivery engines in production.
