Restricted custom tab to teamsite role in TS6.7.1

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to restrict access(not displaying) a custom tab base on Teamsite role. I know that with TS6.7.1 the role is now branch base so i dont know it is possible to restrict the tab by role.

(Basically i want to add a custom task that any admin user can access).

i looked up the Teamsite UI customixation guide and found this: (Can this be outdated). (Release 1.7.0 for TS6.7.0).

Restricting Custom Tabs by TeamSite Role
Custom tabs that access non-Interwoven-supplied functionality can be restricted by role in a
manner similar to custom links as described in “Restricting Custom Links by TeamSite Role”
on page 87. To do so, specify an operationID attribute in the custom tab element
definition and then place the appropriate entries for all roles in userops_custom.xml.
