Workflow modeler - Installation issue

Here are my installation steps:
1) Check for Java runtime - Java version 1.5.0.7 is installed
2) Click on IWOVxxx-win-1.0.0.0-build60749.exe
- prompts for another location to extract the installer
- Installer extracted to another temp folder
3) Run workflowmodeler.exe
4) installed completed with errors reported
5) Run workflow modeler from start menu
6) Error msg displayed "unable to locate Java application"

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi,
on which OS did you start the installation?
Is the JAVA_HOME environment variable set correctly?

Thanks for the reply.

Tried setting the following:
Set environmental variable JAVA_HOME
Setpath JAVA_HOME
Launch workflow modeler
Same error occurred.

Found an error reported in the installlog file -
"Install File: C:\Program Files\Interwoven\WorkflowModeler\ProcessModeler.jar
Status: ERROR"

only a shot in the dark: perhaps you try to install the WFM into an path without spaces...

Can you try using Java 1.5.0.6? I dont think the installation should fail due to Java 1.5.0.7 however just to pin point the root cause you may want to do it?
I am using Windows 200 Server with JDK 1.5.6.06 and the installer worked fine for me

Is the soap server necessary to configure the workflow modeler with the teamsite 6.7.1?
The installation prompts me to login, but it doesn't seem the same as the workflow user's manaual installion pic and setup. In addditon, It does not accept my server name or domain name, however I am certain the the information that I input is correct.
Any suggestions?
