issue creating link

Hello,

This is probably a simple fix but I am not able to figure it out. When we browse to files in our teamsite our links come out like 'web/img/mktg_banner.jpg' but they do not show up right in our website. To make them show in the site the links should be like "img/mktg_banner.jpg" because the web is already added to the link.

This is the link I see when i look into the image 'http://ts-dev/iw/cci/meta/no-injection/iw-mount/default/main/Internet/WORKAREA/home/web/web/img/mktg_banner.jpg'
So one more web is added to the link. How to I prevent it from adding that web. Where should I make the change.

Would appreciate any suggestions you might have.

What is the path to the file from the workarea ? I assume it is /web/img/whatever.jpg

So the core issue is that you have this extra directory web. Typically the workarea root is the same as your docroot so both would be imag/whatever.jpg.

That being said, fixing that would be a pain. So you have to change the DCR data (via formapi) or the TPL to filter out that extra web.

However that will bring up another issue. Since TS has that file in web/ing.whatever.jpg and it is not called img/ preview in TS will fail. You will need a change to the proxy settings to fix this issue. Finally verify that OD is set properly, if you are just changing the path (web/img to img) OD should be fine, however if you decide to move the files from web completely then OD will likely need to change). Then go slap the person who set this up because it was done wrong.
