Permssion Errror

One of our users getting the permission error when she is trying import a file into the teamsite. She is in editor role and she can import files into teamsite. I checked her JRE version (1.5.0 build 1.5.0_02-b09).

Anybody got this type of permission error? or Any ideas??

What happens when you click OK, does that give you Java Not found error. I am assuming its problem with JRE Compatibility with your version of TeamSite. I also like you to check the permissions on directory in which he.she is importing the files.

She was able to access that directory in windows explorer and she has permissions on it. She is having problem in accessing TS. To let you know that the directory is a network share (does it make any difference?)

She has JRE 1.5.

What is compatible JRE for Teamsite 6.1 on windows2003?

Does this happen all the time or only occasionally?
I've seen this kind of error occur when a user's authentication runs out - mostly with FireFox - where it sometimes fails to show the login page to force re-authentication. (The same thing happens for download, except you don't get an error, you just end up downloading the login page's HTML code instead of the actual file contents you wanted)

I don't have that right to make that directory 'local' (not permissible for us I say)

update:
We told her to update JRE 1.6 to see if that makes a difference.

You cannot even use c:\temp ? I certainly pity your environment since your IT department will make your life very difficult.

Can you remote mount the server ? If you can get to the data via \\teamsite-server\default\.. that may help
