new bit attached to DCRs

when I list all the DCRs using iwextattr command there is a "new" bit attached to some of the DCRs for eg; iwDCR0_032132new.what does it mean?

iwextattr is for listing EAs associated with an asset - it does not "list DCRs"
So - if you're seeing that - it probably means that whatever set the EA did it.

Either that - or you need to clarify your question and perhaps provide some more details (TS version, platform, show actual command, show actual output, etc.)

let me reframe it,from iwextattr im getting associated DCR of a generated page.there it is(new) showing.

Ok Adam, let me tell u in details what I have achieved so far.The task is identify unassociated(orphan) DCRs lying in a particular branch and delete them.I have used iwextattr -g to get the list of all the associated DCRs.Then I take a difference of these set from the all DCRs set to get the set of unassociated DCRs.Now there are two concerns.
1.in some DCRs, I am getting the name as for eg, iwDCR0_032132new(from staging also).
2.Now I want to delete all these unassociated DCRs.I want to do it from my .ipl script itself.But i could'nt zeroed on any CLT for doing this.can you provide some suggestion?

Run iwextattr -l on one of the files from the command line and post the information you see

Also check your WF to see if you are setting this in any want.

it's only for a few files out of hundreds of files...do u have any suggestion on the 2nd point?

Post exactly what you see first, did you write the workflow ? Or someone else ?
