Making User Task Comments compulsory

Hi,

I am developing a workflow for my customer, containing a User Task, where the Reviewer can press either "Accept" or "Reject" button, and also where the Reviewer is allowed to enter comments in the "Complete Task" Text box.

The requirement of my customer, is that the entering of comments in the "Complete Task" Text box, should be made mandatory.

Unfortunately, I am unable to understand how to do this, because by default, the "Complete Task" field is an optional Text box.

Will be grateful for your insights into my predicament.

If you need it badly enough you can use TS Toolkit conventions and make_toolkit Widget to hack ccpro/ccstd task_details.jsp
(perhaps modify "finish_task" function within it).

FWIW - some time after having made that post, I did in fact implement the cgitask method - I don't recall all the details, but it essentially checked the events to see if there was a comment from the previous task. If there was, the cgitask transitioned and closed itself as a no-op, otherwise it opened a window with a textarea and javascript for ensuring that the user typed at least N characters.
