from our teamsite instance we can go to particular link where there is code help provide link is something like http://ourserver/iw/help/tst (this help link is not the one for code but general usage)

Documentation does not cover perl doc, which is more frequently needs to be refered to, for everything else no doubt documentation is better.

perldoc is a CLT run from the command line.
The only perldocs that come ready for viewing via the TS GUI are the ones you referenced in .../iw/help/tst/pt

You can use perldoc to generate HTML pages which you could then locate within iw/help/ somewhere if you wanted - and then you'd be able to access those pages from the GUI too - otherwise just open a shell on the server and run iwperldoc modulename to get the information ... or, in the case of non-Interwoven modules - go to http://search.cpan.org/ or http://perldoc.perl.org/

What i meant to say is, that what you are looking for is not available on TS UI. You have to look for documentation on writing basic code and obviously perl doc for detailed info .
I think ghoti has explained it nicely .

In the 5.x release Interwoven also had FormAPI documentation available that way - but in 6.x they changed to using a PDF manual for FormAPI instead.
