Hi SM,
Stop Tomcat and Open ..\Tomcat8\conf\catalina.properties
Add below line et and of the file
org.apache.jasper.compiler.Parser.STRICT_WHITESPACE=false
Delete ..\Tomcat8-8080\work\
Start tomcat and test.
