TeamSite 5.0.1
Mr_Cruise
Dear All,
I have been called into a client site to look at an old version of TeamSite (5.0.1 SP2) running on Solaris. This version of TeamSite is EOL and they do have a migration plan in place.
However, as usual the backing store has grown too big, over 31gb and when some of the files are submitted in a workflow the GUI crashes. I have found that for some reason when the iwextattr command is run on certain files, through a step in the workflow, the GUI goes down. Note you can look as the ea's fine through the TeamSite GUI.
The backing store is so big that we cannot run an iwfsck command as the server is live.
Has anyone seen this problem or have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Lee

Never heard of an issue like that. The odds of fixing anything are slim to none. You can check the support site if there are any service packs for 5.0.1 and cross your fingers.
But I would expedite the migration.

Yes, we have the same scenario which is much more than the store size mentioned by you. We basically execute a scheduler activity in which we removed all the pending WFs. In this wasy the performance is maintained. I suggest takeing up iwffsshrink during weekend inorder to prevent from running into major degradation in performance in later stage.
