specified region within a workarea(for example a subfolder in a workarea).
So What is needed is that to allow a group to have read, write permission
to a specific folder within a workarea.

No, I am trying to allow only a group of users to have read and write access
to only a certain subfolder of a workarea of a branch. In other words, I don't want the member of these group to have write permission to other workareas.

I am with the version: Teamsite 6.5 & OS is Windows 2003.
What I mean is other subfolders. Hence, I want only a specific
group to access only one subfolder and not write to other subfolder.
