Author can not edit DCR

I have added some users to a particular branch as 'author', however those users do not have access to edit any of the DCRs within that branch nor do they have access to create a new DCR. The link 'edit' and 'new form entry' link are disabled for the authors. If I add the same users as Administrator, they, now, have access to edit and to create new form entries. Has anyone come across this issue? or any ideas?

Could you provide some more info like:
1. Who is owner/group for that particular branch?
2. Are the recently added users, member of that group?

Besides branch permissions (already asked for) - what about workarea permissions? You are trying to do this in a workarea - right (not staging or an edition)?

From the way you phrased the question - it sounds like you're using TS6.7.1 - but it would make things a lot clearer if you stated the product version you are using (including patches and service packs applied) and included information about the platform / OS on which the server is running. Try to get used to including that information in any thread you start in the forums.

Recently got upgraded to TS 6.7.1 and it stopped working after that only??
