after some changes also the same error repeating.

Can anyone suggest me something to resolve this error

I would check your DCR for unescaped XML entities. something like ampersand, etc.

Rajat, don't mind but looks like the error is within the line 1 of his tpl.

Susi, can you try putting in ur line 1 of ur tpl in cdata tags and see if you are getting any new error.

Interesting, with just hello ... in your tpl file, are you getting the XML parser error, can we see the error once again if its different (surely shd be different) from the first post.

Essentially, with that simple a DCR, I am positive that the problem is in the configuration files and no longer in the templates...

Please add the html tags for your code.
I cannot see anything wrong with this configuration.

The tpl has been reduced to a simple tpl with no values being read from the DCR at all, and the error remains unchanged.

I can see that. What I am asking is that a TPL has to start with iw_pt. This is what I would start doing before doing anything else.

just do a very simple blank template - make sure it works and then start loading it with flesh, trying to catch the culprit.

I am saying that without trying to do it myself - otherwise I'd already knew what is wrong Smiley Happy

A TPL does not necessarily have to start with iw_pt.
The code that I have posted on this thread http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showpost.php?p=107086&postcount=4 works fine and has no iw_pt tags for the presentation template.

Can you please re-post, as attachments, the:

you are attempting to test with.I ask because I just looked at the files I downloaded from your original attachments and the files are loaded with control- and/or null- characters - and that would definitely cause problems for the templating engine.Also - please provide, in detail, information about what editing application you are using to create the DCT and PT.
