Issue
- How can a custom modeling language be shared with other users?
Resolution
- Open a notebook in the repository where you created your custom modeling language.
- Go to Interface --> ProVision Modeling Language --> Export to File.
- At the top of the Export ProVision Modeling Language dialog, select your custom modeling language from the Modeling Language drop-down.
Select a name and location for your .pvm file and click Export.
Open a notebook where the custom modeling language will be applied.
- Go to Interface --> ProVision Modeling Language --> Import from File.
- Select the .pvm file that was created earlier and click Open.
- On the Modeling Language Import dialog, highlight the custom modeling language, select the option Replace original data types, and click Import. On the pop-up asking if you want to replace original data types, click Yes.
- Now the modeling language can be activated. Press F11 or click Tools --> Customization. On the Modeling Languages tab, highlight the custom modeling language, and click Activate. Click Yes on the pop-up to continue, and then click OK.
