onClose Event when Finish is clicked

I have a scenario where the user creates the DCR and I want to capture the clicking of the Finish button - I will be setting the file name to appear in the save dialog box. I am attemppting the following code:

function init()

{

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onClose", handleNameDCR);

}

function handleNameDCR() {
alert("setting the output file");
IWPageGeneration.setOutputFile("/temp/preview/preview.html");
return true;
}

The event only fires when I press the cancel button......any idea why Finish doesn't do as the doc says it should??

Unlike 'Cancel', 'Finish' Button causes save-related Events as well. Uninterrupted sequence is as follows:
onSave -> onSaveValid -> onSaveNameSpecified -> onSaveDone

Perhaps you are intercepting (and failing) one of those? If that's the case, you won't get to onClose handler.
What's your TS Version / Platform? I have no problem doing that in 6.5

Not necessarily. What I've posted was not a proposed fix to your issue.

Rather, it was actually a possible scenario to explain the behavior you've described. Without looking at your code
(not just bits and pieces) we have no way of knowing if you really intercept any of Save Events. So I shaped my post
as a question/hint - something for you to look at

That can be a turn around, however it should work for onClose as well. If possible, please attach the code snippet.
