Issues Addressed

  1. Folders are stuck at system stages. Errors in the Windows Application log read: "Database problem while doing: Opening eWait table to determine next timeout. m\_nRetCode: -1, m\_strError: 'Your transaction (process ID \#xx) was deadlocked with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun your transaction.'"
  2. In 'Restrict viewing to roles' in the properties for an e-Work form, selecting roles whose names total more than 255 characters when concatenated generates an error message 'Unable to access blank form'. In addition, the following messages are recorded in the Windows Application log: 1) Unable to access blank form ... and 2) Database exception while trying to create form. Operation: Open. Code: 1021. Resolution

  • Install e-Work 5.4 Service Release 2 (5.4.0.2c) or later. To see if this has been installed, check the version of eSession.dll in the e-Work Engine directory. It should be 5.4.0.234 or higher.
