Issue
When trying to login using the ECL and an authentication script (SAP) in position 1 (the second SAP, as the first is position 0), for example,
session.Login( "Win32", "1", loginData );
the following error appears in the browser:
Server Error in '/ECLSample' Application
Failed to login.
Exception Details: Metastorm.ECL.ESessionException: Failed to login.
Source Error:
Line 86: eworkSession.login("Win32", "1", loginData);
In this example, line 86 is the highlighted line showing where the failure occurred.
Resolution
When the version 6.6.x Engine is used, the ECL login requires that the SAP is first in the SAP order (i.e., order 0 - the first SAP listed). The example above needs to be session.Login( "Win32", "0", loginData );.
The SAP position can be specified when using the version 7 Engine.
