Failed to Load the Library "eEvaluationSuite.DLL"
The information in this article applies to:
Product: Metastorm BPM (e-Work)
Version: 5.x 6.x 7.x
Issue
When running the database migration tool, checking syntax in the Designer, or publishing a procedure, the user receives a message similar to one of the following:
Failed to load the library "eEvaluationSuite.DLL" - Syntax checking is not possible
This application has failed to start because sxlrt308.dll was not found.
Resolution
Make sure the file sxlrt308.dll is present in the WINNT\\system32 or WINDOWS\\system32 directory. If not, copy the file from the System32 directory on the Metastorm BPM (e-Work) CD/DVD to the directory on the affected machine.
Make sure the user running the application has the Set Value permission for the registry key HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Metastorm\\e-work\\Engine. To do this, run Regedit, and right-click on the registry key. Select Permissions, and click on the user name or a group to which the user belongs. Click on Advanced. On the Permissions tab, select the user or group and click on the Edit... button. Select the Allow check-box for the Set Value permission. Save the change.
Copy the file eError.dll from the Engine directory to the Designer directory. If using the default locations, this would be C:\\Program Files\\Metastorm BPM\\Engine to C:\\Program Files\\Metastorm BPM\\Directory
