Issue
If Metastorm BPM 7.6.0.2 is installed, 7.6 SR1 will fail to install and the following error is generated:
This patch package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.
An error message similar to the following is written to the Windows application event viewer:
Product: Metastorm BPM - Update 'Metastorm BPM 7.6 Service Release 1' could not be installed. Error code 1636. Additional information is available in the log file C:\\DOCUME~1\\jjones\\LOCALS~1\\Temp\\MetastormBPM7.6SR1Log.txt.
