Issue
In an environment using Novell Single Sign-On (NDSSSO), e-Work authentication is properly configured with NDSSSO.js listed first and then eUser.js.
If a user is logged in to e-Work using Novell Single Sign-On (NDSSSO.js), the login completes as expected.
If a user is not on the Novell network, authentication passes to the eUser.js script and a login window is presented. After the user successfully logs in, the main e-Work window is displayed as expected. However, the login window does not close, but rather the main e-Work window is also displayed in the login window. Thus 2 e-Work main windows are displayed.
Resolution
- The workaround is to close the login window. This has been fixed in Metastorm BPM v 7, but customers who want to use Novell Single Sign-On in version 7 must implement their own authentication against eDirectory using the Open Authentication Architecture.
