Attributes Are Entered in All Uppercase During Directory Extraction
The information in this article applies to product: e-Work 6.0 and later
Issue
- Mapped attributes are entered in the eAttribute table in all uppercase during directory extraction.
Resolution
- This behavior is by design. Because an extraction must clean up old attribute values from the e-Work database, it must be able to identify which rows are to be removed. If an administrator removes and re-creates an attribute mapping with the same name but different case, then the extraction utility needs to be able to treat them as the same attribute. But on a case-sensitive database they won't match - thus all mapped attribute names are entered as upper case.
