TeamSite on Mac

Has anyone had any problems with teamsite freezing on a Mac (Internet Explorer)? One of our content providers can work on appoximately 8 files (editing with Dreamweaver via LaunchPad), before their system freezes up. I know Macs are buggy with ts... the Mac has plenty of ram, and we've tried downloading/editing/uploading multiple files all at once and one at a time -- nothing seems to stop it from freezing up.
Any ideas?

Did you make sure that the launchpad application has enough ram allocated to it? If you have not looked at this then try increasing the ram and see what happens. This is a common Mac problem.

We're using the LaunchPad applet. Isn't it just a part of IE or Netscape? So do you mean increase the ram for IE, or is there somewhere else I should be increasing it?

First ensure that you are using a supported version of IE for your version of Teamsite. If IE version is ok then increase ram for IE. I have found that some Mac issues are also solved by 'rebuilding the desktop'. You may want to try that as well.

OK, the content provider on the Mac is still having to reboot about once an hour when using teamsite. Ram has been increased on IE, and the desktop has been rebuilt. Any other ideas?

This is frustrating because one of the main reasons my company settled on Interwoven is because they were assured TeamSite runs fine on a Mac (except for Visual Format). Now TeamSite keeps crashing the Macs.
Additional question: Is anyone using TSv5.0 on Mac OSX? Does OSX provide a more stable environment, or cause additional problems?

I am not sure why Teamsite would cause your Macs to crash. We have been supporting Macs for a while now and have not had this type of problem. Teamsite is usable in OSX, however, launchpad will be used in the classic environment. OSX is not yet supported.
