Issue
When trying to install the Metastorm BPM Client for Office, a user receives the following pop-up message and the install fails:
Metastorm BPM Client add-ins for Office:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition is required, please install or deselect feature.
Resolution
If the Visual Studio tools have not been installed, install them. The file vstor.exe can be found on the Metastorm BPM DVD in the Redist directory under Metastorm Client for Office.
This error has also been seen when multiple versions of the Visual Studio Tools for Office have been installed. Uninstall the tools and reinstall the Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition.
