Error Refreshing Form in Browser with Windows Single
The information in this article applies to product: e-Work 6.x
Issue
- The error 'Unrecognized URL' / 'Failed to refresh form' is displayed every time a form is refreshed in the web client. This only happens if Windows Single Sign-on authentication is used. Logging on manually does not generate this error.
Resolution
IWA or BA must be enabled for the file eWeb.dll. Go to Internet Information Services and expand the e-Work web site. In the 'escripts' virtual directory, locate eWeb.dll, right-click and select 'Properties'. Select 'File Security' > 'Anonymous access and authentication control' > Edit.
Configuring this DLL to use authentication will cause a small performance hit because of the extra access checking; however, this should not be significant.
