Issue

• The Designer User Manual gives conflicting information for some field sizes.

Resolution

• The following is correct:

  The default size for text fields, radio groups, and drop-down fields is 250 characters. If you need to provide more room or allow for multiple lines of text, you should use a memo field and memo variable.

• Note that this refers to the size of the custom variable of type text that is associated with these form fields. The maximum size of a text variable is also 250.
