cant configure new form types in templating cfg

i am trying to add some new areas to my teamsite, and one area i added is:

//pauley/default/main/NextGen/WORKAREA/Dev/templatedata/SalesSource/Training/S2_Training

my forms that work look like this:
//pauley/default/main/NextGen/WORKAREA/Dev/templatedata/Admin/ResourceType

i am getting this error:
Unable to create a new form of type SalesSource/Training under the branch //pauley/default/main/NextGen. This form was not configured for this branch or you do not have permission to access it.

i am 99% sure this is a templating.cfg issue, my problem is figuring out what the configuration should look like.

please help.

aha, now that i configured it, its looking for it in the wrong place, its saying:
Unable to find //pauley/default/main/NextGen/WORKAREA/Dev/templatedata/SalesSource/S2_Training/datacapture.cfg. Please contact your system administrator.

how do i make it look for the datacapture in the right place?

If possible, could you please attach the snippet of your templating.cfg where you had mentioned the particular datatype / category.

Also, in future... please provide your working environment like TS version on what platform etc.

Is the SalesSource folder to hold DCRs or generated output ?

Since it is under templatedata, TS assumes there are templates there, thus it is looking for the datacapture.cfg

However, TS looks for templatedata/Category/Type/ you have 3 levels there.

can i make teamsite look elsewhere other then templatedata/Category/Type/
?

nope.

templatedata-something-somethingelse/Category/Type will work there must be 2 and only 2 levels.
