Issue
A procedure references a library that contains a script, and the file is saved. If another library that contains a script with the same name as a script in the first library is now referenced, the .xel file is deleted from the hard drive and the following message is displayed:
The procedure could not be saved - The selected name is not unique, please choose another.
Resolution
- This is a known issue. The workaround is to not use duplicate script names in libraries referenced by the same procedure. If this issue is encountered and the procedure is open in the Process Designer, remove the reference to one of the libraries (and change the script name). The procedure can now be savedProcedure File Deleted When Referenced Libraries Have Duplicate Script Names.
