Issue
- When Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which uses https, is configured for the SharePoint web site, a user cannot access Metastorm BPM through the web parts for SharePoint.
Resolution
When SSL is used with SharePoint, https must be specified in the web.config file for SharePoint. By default, this file is located in the SharePoint virtual folder. The following settings are required in the MetastormWebParts section of the file:
NOTE: The second line above can be either http or https if Windows Single Sign-On (SSO) is not used. It is recommended that this be set as https regardless, in case SSO is configured later. The third line MUST be http.
