Instantiating Workflows

Hi all,

I am new to WorkflowModeler and I have created a "test" workflow that I am trying to instantiate and step through in TeamSite 6.7.1.0. I was using workflowbuilder before this, and I know that to make a workflow active, you must add a new entry to the available_templates.cfg file in the wft folder. From my understanding, I need to do the same with WorkflowModeler only add an entry in available_models.xml. I have tried this, but I cannot get my syntax right. The name of the file containing my workflow is "Sample WorkflowModel.ipm" and the name of the workflow is "Sample WorkflowModel". What would the entry in available_models.xml look like for this workflow, with the most basic configuration?(It doesn't matter who can access it, or which branch it is available on, I just want to be able to instantiate it and step through it for now.) Also, is there anything else I need to do before I will be able to instantiate my test workflow?(I have already Published the Workflow to TeamSite) Thanks so much!

I suggest you spend a bit of time reading the Interwoven Workflow Modeler User's Guide - specifically sections 6 & 7

I have read those sections, and I've created the following entry in available_models.xml, but the workflow is still not available when I try and create a new job:

(I used square brackets instead of < > so the code will appear in the form)
In other words, the workflow does not appear in the list of workflows to instantiate when creating a new job.

Are you sure that of that hyphen ("new-job") ? I think it's supposed to be an underscore ("new_job"). That might explain it not showing up ... Also - I don't think you need so many 'and's in there - try this:[html]

Yep, the "and" expression was messing up the config file. Thanks for the help.
