Issue
- Some file types, e.g. .doc and .gif, cannot be attached to a clip or take a long time, even if the file is small. Text files attach without any problems.
Resolution
- The customer reporting this stated that it was apparently caused by the redundancy check being performed at the Network Interface Card (NIC) level. When the NIC setting was changed from Auto to 100 Mb full-duplex, the files were attached as expected. On some servers, the configuration CD provides the ability to change the NIC settings, so the redundancy checks may be disabled. When this functionality is removed, the NIC may be set to Auto instead of a manual duplex speed.
