External URL Fails When Sorting by eUpdated

Issue

• The message 'Failed to obtain list' is displayed in the browser when an external URL similar to the following is used:

  http://localhost/e-Work/elist.ashx?Type=ToDo&Client=External&Map=TestURL&Sort=eUpdated&Order=DESC

• The following error may be written to the Windows application event log on the Engine server:

  ErrorCode: '-2147217900' Description: 'Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'DESC'.'
  Source: 'Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server' SQL State: '42000' NativeErrorCode: '156'

Resolution

• This is a known issue.
• 'eUpdated' should not be used as a sort parameter in external URLs.
