Temp Directory Causes Install to Fail

Issue

• Attempting to install e-Work generates the following error message:

  Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.

Resolution

• Make sure the user running the install (the user logged in on the computer), is able to write to the temp directory. Check for permissions and the location of the temp directory. The location is specified in the computer's environment variables. They can be found here: Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> System --> Advanced --> Environment Variables.
