Issues Resolved

  • Lack of support for GroupWise 6.5 SP1a and SP1b.
  • Row numbers appear in grids when using chained actions.
  • When trying to start Outlook, one of the follwing errors is encountered:

    'An error occurred while attempting to login to an e-Work service.'
    'An information store cannot be opened.'

    This is encountered if the Outlook client is using a service list on a different machine, the Outlook client is taken offline, Outlook is shut down and then restarted.

  • Empty memo fields cause the system to behave unexpectedly when a mixture of Version 5 and Version 6 clients are used.
  • Using the Request Broker from a script or with late binding causes an access violation.
  • When accesssing the web client via single sign-on (SSO), the client opens but the screen that says "You are not connected to any service..." is still displayed.
  • If an exception occurs after a deadlock exception, the Engine attempts to process the request forever.

Resolution

  • Stop the e-Work Engine service.
    Stop the World Wide Web Publishing service.
    Close all applications.
    Install Maintenance Release 6.0.1
    Restart the Engine and WWW Publishing services.
    Run eWorkProcedures.sql if you are using SQL Server.
    Run eWorkPackage.sql and eWorkProcedures.sql if you are using Oracle.
