Access Violation in Designer after Supported Version of Library is Found

Issue

• A version 7 procedure contains a reference to a library in a .elb format, although the .xel version has been published to the database. When the procedure is opened, the following warning message appears: The library appears to be in an obsolete or unsupported format. Should an attempt be made to find a valid version in the database?. 'Yes' is clicked, the valid version is found, and then an access violation is generated.

Resolution

• 1. Close the Designer.
  2. Delete the following registry key (personal settings will be lost): HKEY\_CURRENT\_USER\\Software\\Metastorm\\e-work\\Designer\\7.0
  3. Open the Designer.
