E-mail is not generated by the Engine, and an error message similar to the following is written to the Windows application event log:

Resolution
Check the Connector registry value located here: HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Metastorm\\e-work\\Engine\\MailConnector
Make sure the value of LocaleID is set to the code page identifier used for e-mails. For example, 1252 represents the Western European character set, 1250 is Central European, and 65001 is Unicode (UTF-8).
After making a change to the registry, restart the Metastorm Process Engine.
